The DLHHS visit to RHS Harlow Carr near Harrogate in Yorkshire lived up to and beyond our expectations. Every aspect of the 68 acre garden provided splendour and pleasure for all, be it stunning herbaceous borders, the plentiful kitchen garden, the wonderful alpine house, streamside gardens plus woodland walks and wild flower meadows. There was a special display of carnivorous plants with accompanying lecture and a delightful Summer Craft Showcase.

We were lucky with the weather, we indulged ourselves at Betty’s and we returned contented with even more plants!

Great day, great fun, great company.
